കഷ്ടാ തേ സൃഷ്ടിചേഷ്ടാ ബഹുതരഭവഖേദാവഹാ ജീവഭാജാ-
മിത്യേവം പൂർവ്വമാലോചിതമജിത! മയാ; നൈവമദ്യാഭിജാനേ
നോ ചേജ്ജീവാഃ കഥം വാ മധുരതരമിദം ത്വദ്വപുശ്ചിദ്രസാർദ്രം
നേത്രൈഃ ശ്രോത്രൈശ്ച പീത്വാ പരമരസസുധാംഭോധിപൂരേ രമേരൻ
O Ajita, You being ever invincible
Thine Creations, once I thought
Dull-witted and retarded
Deaths and sorrows, daily life….
Now I realised, folly these
With no hear or visible sense
How they enjoy Your corpus, with
Full of glee and wisdom flux?

തത്തേ പ്രത്യഗ്രധാരാധരലളിതകളായാവലീ കേളികാരം
ലാവണ്യസ്യൈകസാരം സുകൃതിജനദൃശാം പൂർണ്ണപുണ്യാവതാരം
ലക്ഷ്മീനിഃശങ്കലീലാനിലയനമമൃതസ്യന്ദസന്ദോഹമന്തഃ
സിഞ്ചത് സഞ്ചിന്തകാനാം വപുരനുകലയേ മാരുതാഗാരനാഥ!
O “Guruvayurappa”, I meditate on Thee,
The form of pure Satvva and Essence of all delicacy,
Who outshines fresh rain clouds and blue lotuses,
Further, the arena of Goddess Lakshmi;
Alms towards the virtuous, their deeds Reasons…..
Thy Greatness, a rain of nectar in the mind
Of those, who lauds….
Your Incarnation, an intense Bliss…!!
O “Aja”, Thou, though Birthless
With the beginning of Ions, and
Without any Reason,
Remains quite inactive, but active with “Now”
As the Nature, Satvva being your nature, and
Prodigiousness, your sculpture;
Adorns the Entity
Because of its purity.
Ever full and tranquil, but inert
The Pure Ocean of Brhman....
Sattva being its waves, recited by the Learned
Personified of boundless bliss
And countless pearls of liberated souls
Thy embrace the Whole of that Ocean
You titled as, the Indivisible Whole….!
“Sakala” – means your revelations
സത്ത്വം യത്തത് പരാഭ്യാം അപരികലനതോ നിർമ്മലം തേന താവദ്-
ഭൂതൈർഭൂതേന്ദ്രിയൈസ്തേ വപുരിതി ബഹുശഃ ശ്രൂയതേ വ്യാസവാക്യം
തത്സ്വച്ഛത്വാദ്യദച്ഛാദിതപരസുഖചിദ്ഗർഭനിർഭാസരൂപം
തസ്മിൻ ധന്യാ രമന്തേ ശ്രുതിമതിമധുരേ സുഗ്രഹേ വിഗ്രഹേ തേ.
Heard it, Lord Vyasa stated several times
Thine Form, made of pure ‘Sattva’
Or from its Derivatives - Elements and Senses
Wholly distinct from remnants…..
Your Idol here shines it outright
With full sanctity, without any border
Thy disciples made their devotion
By Audition and Meditation
